Lee and Diana were married in a civil wedding ceremony at Waterton Park Hotel near Wakefield. We joined Diana at the hotel as she prepared for her wedding day, Diana’s timings were superb as we arrived she was as planned just finishing her make up and preparing to get dressed. A few photographs of the make up finishing touches allowed Alex time to grab some detail shots before we worked out where to hang the dress for a photo or two before Diana stepped into it. This was now our cue to leave and join the guys on the Island at Walton Hall as Lee and his grooms men met for a pre-wedding drink and some photographs.
Following the civil ceremony we headed onto the island for the drinks reception. Hard to believe in 25 degree heat we were now in October, but with all the guests outside enjoying the drinks reception and making the job of shooting candids really easy we weren’t complaining!
During the evening reception guests were treated to an Elvis impersonator, pic and mix sweets and our photo booth set up a lowing all the guests the chance to pose for photographs in the mini studio set up and take away free mementos of the day – a selection of the photographs are below.
Above photos from the Photo-Booth set up at the evening reception. All photographs are free for guests to take away and are also supplied on disc for the bride and groom.
