Carl and Rachael married on Saturday at St Mary’s church in Garforth. Karl is serving in the army and chose to marry in uniform complete with ceremonial sword and honour guard. A real mixed bag weather wise with blue skies, heavy rain and even cold winds at one point. Thankfully we were able to work around the worst of it to shoot everything outside.
The bridal party and honour guard were superb throughout the day providing entertainment and no doubt hours of footage on the wedding DVD. The bridesmaids inparticular towards the end of the drinks reception (cough cough) were keen to play up for the cameras providing some great photos as they directed themselves culminating in high jumps.
Following the wedding breakfast we were back outside for a number of after dark shots, the freshly installed bridge lights adding a new dimension to the evening photographs
