A great Thank You note from Richard and Laura who married at Walton Hall, Wakefield in December.

“Hi Chris,

Just wanted to say how pleased we are with our wedding album. Everyone we have shown it to has said how lovely it is. One person even said it was the best wedding album she had ever seen so high praise indeed!! It will be a lovely keep sake to treasure for ever.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Laura and Richard”

A bright and bubbly Leanne greeted us as we arrived at her parent’s house in Huddersfield, the fresh face and happy smiles belying a lack of sleep the night before the big day. (at this point I think it’s also only fair to point out that Leanne’s demeanor never changed throughout the whole day and even as we wished them good night just before 10PM she was still more awake than both myself and Alex).

The church Leanne and Dean had chosen was St Paul’s in Huddersfield, a bright and great looking church, ideal for photography. (Apparently they also do a great line in weddings but this is about photos!).

Following on from the ceremony and a few formal shots outside church we made our way to Walton Hall Waterton Park in Wakefield for their wedding reception. Once again Rolls Hire of Ossett were superb and even though they’ve renamed me ‘Cornfield Chambers’ after my desire to park all their cars in and around as many fields as possible, they obligingly parked the wedding car in another field for some photos with Leanne and Dean.

The Islands stunning setting lends itself perfectly for photographs and a bright blue sky, obliging bride an groom and a set of fantastic guests ensured the large screen display we showed in the evening went down a storm. I’m booked already for next year to photograph Leanne’s sister’s wedding at Hazlewood Castle, if it’s half as much fun as today I can’t wait!

The photographs below are a small selection of those we used in the evening HD screen display. (I’ve added the first dance afterwards to complete the blog)

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making my sister’s wedding day so special. Your exquisite photography has captured every second of an amazing day. You and Alex made Leanne and Dean feel completely at ease and became part of the family for the day. The amount of stunning photographs is going to make Leanne and Dean’s selection process very difficult; I can’t wait for the completed album as I know that it will be treasured forever. I am so excited for my wedding next April as I know you capture our special day in the same way.

Such a beautiful day! Seeing how Leanne's face lit up when she put on her dress was magical. It was as if she was saying "yes, this is all really happening now" with her glowing smile and brilliant blue eyes. Everything was unforgetable and I am sure these enchanting photographs will help keep such loving images alive in our memories.

Phil and Gemma married on Good Friday in a civil ceremony at the Park Plaza hotel in Leeds city centre. Following preparation photos of Gemma and her bridesmaids on the 20th floor we joined Phil and the guys in City Square for photographs before the wedding ceremony.

The wedding breakfast was served down by the riverside in celebrity chef Raymond Blanc’s brasserie, the aptly named Brasserie Blanc. The intimate nature of the brasserie seating really worked well for the wedding and created a real party atmosphere. A photo session with Gemma and Phil followed the wedding breakfast before heading back into Leeds city centre and Park Plaza for the evening reception.

The last wedding fayre of the spring for me will be this Sunday at Walton Hall Waterton Park near Wakefield between 12 and 5PM.

I’ll be upstairs in the Waterton Suite alongside West End Florists. As well as numerous albums and photos, I’ll be offering a winter special offer package which will include dates in December this year. The winter package details will be available on the main website soon but those booking at the fayre can take advantage of an additional saving.

It’s always great to hear back from a Bride and Groom after their wedding, either when they first see the wedding photography proofs or when they receive their wedding album. Two such wonderful comments arrived this week.

Mark and Vicky, married at Carlton Towers in August

Just a note to express our gratitude for the fantastic job you did on the day and the brilliant job you did on the day and afterwards with our wonderful wedding album, it is truly stunning.

On the day you made us both feel at ease and relaxed, you impressed and entertained our guests and wowed them with the speed at which you had the screen display put together for the evening reception. With the album you have done a marvelous job, everyone compliments us on it and I recommend you to anyone who asks.

Anyway, we did enjoy the whole experience from the brilliantly conceived pre-wedding shoot where we got to know you and had some lovely photographs taken right through to receiving our album. A big big thank you for making our day memorable.

Lisa and Brian, married at Bagden Hall in March.

When I woke up on our wedding day and looked out of the window I was devastated to see how wet and dreary the day was, mainly because I wanted our pictures to look great and not be spoilt by grey skies! But I really needn’t have worried at all! Our pictures are absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations by far. You have done an amazing job and made it look like we got married on a sunny spring day without any camera trickery!! The indoor pictures are fantastic too.

Our only problem now is trying to decide on which photos go in our album….not an easy task and I can feel pages being added already!!! Thank you so much for everything you have done for us so far and more importantly for making a very unphotogenic bride and groom look amazing!!! You are a star and I can’t wait to see our finished album

Really appreciated, thank you!
