The Red Lion at Burnsall wedding photography - Ross and Caroline’s wedding photography
Ross and Caroline were married on Saturday at St Wilfred’s Church in Burnsall. The cold bright winters day couldn’t have been any better fro a wedding in late January, very little wind and blue skies made the day feel a lot more springlike than mid winter.
The day began with preparation photos of Ross and his groomsmen in one of the Red Lion’s cottages before I joined Caroline for her hair and make up preparation photos in the hotel. The church is only a few hundred yards from the Red Lion and Caroline had opted to walk the short distance before the wedding meaning I was able to leave Richard at church photographing guests arriving whilst i stayed with caroline before the walk up to church with her parents and bridesmaids.
Following the wedding ceremony and a few photographs outside St Wilfred’s we made out way down to Burnsall Green for the family photographs and then some with just Ross and Caroline by the bridge and hotel before we joined the wedding guests in the red lion for the drinks reception.
