Iain and Kayleigh’s wedding photography, Barnsley to Walton Hall

The met forecasters had once again predicted doom and gloom…. Don’t you just love the Met Office for cheering you up as you prepare to get married (or of course in my case take the photographs). Thankfully their woefully inaccurate guess work meant we had sunshine and even nice warm temperatures to play with for Iain and Kayleigh’s wedding which took place on Friday at All Saints Church in Darton near Barnsley.

Following their wedding ceremony and some photos around Church we made the short trip to Walton Hall at Waterton Park for their wedding reception. The good weather continued and allowed us some time outside to explore the island for photographs before the wedding breakfast.

Although the rain did finally arrive it wasn’t until Iain, Kayleigh and their guests were ensconced inside Walton Hall enjoying the wedding breakfast. Good fortune meant that by the time we headed outdoors for some after dark photographs the rain had stopped again.

The following images were some of those used in the large screen evening slideshow I play at all weddings and is included with all wedding photography packages….

Beautiful wedding in a wonderful colorful season. Nice shots outside. I like the kiss in the flare of the sun.

Superb set of images Chris, I love the processing. The wing mirror shot is my favourite!

I have to say. Your work is amazing. There is a distinct difference of UK work as to US work. I wish we had scenery like you get to shoot at. If you are ever looking to expand your work worldwide, I would love to come shoot a wedding with you or you can come here. Great work.

Beautiful use of colour, it’s lovely and vibrant. Walton hall looks stunning in this scenery.
