Paul and Kate married on Thursday 16th September at All Saints Church in Pontefract. From a wedding photographers perspective All Saints church offers almost everything you need, a picture postcard church, stunning bright interior and a very helpful vicar who didn’t mind unobtrusive photographs during the ceremony.
Following the wedding ceremony Paul, Kate and their guests made the short journey to Walton Hall at Waterton Park near Wakfield for the wedding reception. With good weather the guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn whilst the formal photographs Paul and Kate had asked for were quickly completed allowing the happy couple plenty of time to socialise with their wedding guests.
Although sadly lacking a flaming sky sunset we were treated to some low late summer sun and were able to create a number of great flare photos which went down a storm on the big screen during the evening reception. We ended the wedding photography with some stunning night time photographs taken outside Walton Hall.
