Dan and Stephanie married at Hazlewood Castle in a civil ceremony at lunchtime followed by a blessing in the chapel of St Leonard’s just before the start of their evening reception.
With both Dan and Stephanie getting ready at Hazlewood Castle it was a slightly earlier start than usual to capture both of them as they prepared for their day ahead. As expected Dan’s preparation was considerably quicker than Stephanie’s whose day started very early for a hair appointment before I joined her at Poppies Spa at Hazlewood where her make up was being applied.
Following the civil ceremony in the Old Dining Hall the drinks reception and photos took place in the courtyard before we took the happy couple for a stroll around the grounds for photographs of just the two of them.
With the blessing taking place at the start of the evening reception all the evening guests were able to attend and feel part of the special day, all enjoying the warm and humorous service from Father Ian.
A big group shot on the front steps and we were quickly inside for the first dance. The sun was now dropping and I was eager to try a new location in the last of the evening light. We ended the day with some after dark photos around the castle.
