Wedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton Abbey

Saturday’s wedding was at the very picturesque Bolton Abbey Priory in North Yorkshire. Mark and Lisa married at the priory before celebrating at the nearby Devonshire Arms in the village. The day started off at the Devonshire Arms as we joined Lisa for bridal preparation photographs. During the morning we also managed to spend  time with Mark and his best man as they finished off getting ready before they made the short trip to Bolton Abbey Priory for the wedding ceremony.

Thankfully the heavy rain we’d experienced in the morning had subsided and left us with a lightly scattered cloud blue sky, sadly the heavy rain had all but negated the use of the grass for photos so we were a little more limited with locations but thankfully this didn’t stop Lisa from soldering on through the soft ground for the wedding photographs in and around the ruins.

The following wedding photographs taken during the day at the Devonshire Arms and Bolton Abbey Priory include many of those we played on the large screen during the evening wedding reception. The Devonshire Arms at Bolton AbbeyWedding photography at Bolton AbbeyWedding photography at Bolton AbbeyBolton Abbey weddingsBolton Abbey weddingsWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton AbbeyWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton AbbeyWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton AbbeyWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton AbbeyWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton AbbeyWedding photography The Devonshire Arms and Bolton Abbey
